  • A legal consultation does not create a legal representative agreement. The attorney does not represent the client in any legal matter as a result of the consultation. The attorney, if warranted or needed, will advise the client to retain an attorney to represent them in the issues or matters in the consultation.


  • The attorney - client relationship is limited to the consultation for the matters and time limited to the specific consultation and information provided to the client by the lawyer, for the purposes of the consultation. All legal matters are complex and based upon facts of the issue presented at the consultation. There is no one correct answer and lawyers may and will differ as to an issue and a course of action.


  • The consultation is confidential and between the attorney and the client at the consultation. No information will be given by the attorney except during the consultation and only to those in attendance at the consultation. Law may require that information is given to governmental entities, agencies or offices.


  • The attorney will try and strive to keep confidential information, however or whenever received, confidential. The attorney may and will use confidential information to defend or protect itself for matters or issues of the consultation.


  • Consultations are not for document generation or production and will consist only of the spoken word. The spoken word is dependent on the reception and perception of the words spoken. Over time and, once spoken, the word and the memory of the words spoken, and their meaning, may and will deminish and the memory of the words spoken may be less than reliable or dependable. The attorney is not responsible for the client's reception or perception or the client's memory. The attorney will try and strive to create a clear understanding of the issues or matters in the consultation through plain and simple, easy to use and understand language.

  • The consulting attorney is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.


  • The consulting attorney is prohibited from advising a client to violate the law.


  • The consulting attorney is prohibited from assisting in the violation of law.


  • The consultation is not for past or present attorney performance or evaluation.


  • The consulting attorney is prohibited from giving advice to a client represented by an attorney.


  • The attorney reserves the right to refuse service to anyone not based on race, sex, religion, age or any State or Federal protected class.
